Guardians of Stubbs’ pool, Camp Hill, Nuneaton. One of our drainage own, Jo Ling, came to the rescue as she battled to save hundreds of oxygen starved fish this summer in Warwickshire.
After 2018’s heatwave water levels dropped at the popular local pond and fish started to die. Temporary pumps were brought in to aerate the water by Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council but realising this was just a temporary solution Jo and the Guardians of Stubbs’ pool started a ‘GoFundMe’ site in order to raise £5000 for a permanent pump. As a local environmental services and drainage business, we were delighted to support them.
