View our latest school fencing and playground extension project. We are always happy to get involved with great community projects. When a local Gloucester primary school asked us to help extend fencing for a covered play area their reception children use, we jumped at the chance!
Wilkinson Environmental’s Board of Directors are known in their local area, Hempsted, Gloucester for supporting community projects, fundraisers and charities, so when we were approached by the school regarding their school fencing and playground extension in January 2019, we were able to donate 2 days of FREE labour for the project.
The extended playground has made such a difference to the children and their teachers, and, as well as having an audience watching their every move, our Wilkinson boys were totally delighted when they were offered a school dinner each day. It took them on a trip down memory lane, especially when their mash potato was served in a scoop!
This is not the first time we have helped, supported or sponsored local educational establishments. In the past we have been instrumental in saving and rebuilding a local playgroup and been involved in numerous fundraising events for our local schools. Some of these events include taking part in sponsored mud runs, helping to organising village pamper nights, outdoor cinema events, summer fetes, quiz nights, Easter egg hunts and Christmas craft fairs.
All CBR checked our civil engineering team at Wilkinson Environmental can do all sorts of landscaping, fencing and car park projects for schools and educational facilities. We have staff based in in Gloucester and Atherstone, Warwickshire but can deliver projects throughout the Midlands – Leicester, Coventry, Rugby, Derby, Birmingham as well as Worcester, Hereford, Oxford, Reading, London and further afield.
